Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a 1st year Associate Attorney at KNCH in Concord, CA, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for working with support staff and assisting senior attorneys in conducting research, discovery and evidence analysis, investigating claims and negotiating settlements, witness development, and trial preparation. Day-to-day tasks will involve handling a variety of litigation matters and assisting senior attorneys in case preparation and client representation, working toward more independent case handling and trial practice.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong desire to learn, advance, and grow personally and professionally
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • California State Bar Admission (awaiting Bar Exam results considered)
  • Legal research and investigation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
