The City of Concord is excited to announce a rare and unique opportunity for qualified partners to rehabilitate, adaptively reuse, and manage one of Concord’s most significant landmarks: the historic Don Fernando Pacheco Adobe, along with 3.7 acres of adjacent property for community-oriented development.
Constructed in 1844 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Adobe stands as a rare link to California’s Rancho Period and a cherished piece of our cultural heritage. Our vision is to preserve this landmark while creating a dynamic destination that serves the community for generations to come.
This RFP invites visionary proposals that balance historic preservation with new development opportunities. Potential uses include cultural facilities, performance or event space, educational programs, recreation, or other compatible community-focused amenities.
